The Labour Court recommended that current concession-day arrangements for maintenance craftsmen in HSE North East remain in place until agreement is reached on a unified arrangement across the HSE. The recommendation was signed on 25 September 2006. The Technical, Engineering And Electrical Union sought two concession days for all employees, saying local arrangements varied from two days to none. The Court said it was not appropriate to address the area in isolation while arrangements differed across the HSE.
