The Labour Court recommended against a further compensation claim by Services Industrial Professional Technical Union on behalf of 11 Currency Assistants at the Central Bank Of Ireland’s Sandyford site. Its recommendation was dated 20 September 2006. The union sought additional compensation for lost earnings and pension service after the assistants were removed from the payroll during a work dispute. An earlier settlement provided a €1,250 payment and a term loan. The Court found that the union had accepted the settlement as full and final and saw no basis to reopen the claim.
