The Labour Court recommended that a worker accept the findings of an independent investigation into her workplace complaints and did not recommend that the Health Services Executive South Eastern Area concede her claims. The recommendation was dated 9 August 2006.
The worker sought compensation for lost earnings and stress, a written apology, reinstatement to her permanent post, and training and support. She said inadequate training and bullying and harassment affected her work. The HSE said it had offered an alternative post and a return to work, which she had not accepted.
The Court considered the case fully and fairly investigated. The independent consultant had found no evidence to substantiate her complaints against colleagues.
