The Labour Court recommended against a job-sharing nurse’s claim that Waterford Hospice Movement Limited implement a staffing review and re-employ him. The recommendation was dated 7 July 2006. The Court found no evidence that the hospice had created or filled new posts since a 2004 agreement, which provided for an offer of employment if an expansion required additional nursing staff. It concluded the hospice had not departed from that agreement because it had not expanded its services.
