The Labour Court recommended sending unresolved parts of a clerical grading and pay dispute between An Post and the Clerical Workers Union (Cwu) to the Tripartite Expert Group for discussion and possible agreement. The recommendation was signed 6 July 2006. The issues included allowances, grading, terms and conditions, staffing and savings. The Court said they needed further discussion in light of existing agreements and precedents. Matters still unresolved by 30 September 2006 could be referred back to the Court for a final recommendation.
