The Labour Court recommended that a member of St Joseph’s Primary School’s secretarial staff receive €10.37 an hour, retrospectively from 1 January 2006. The recommendation was dated 3 July 2006. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought wage increases under Sustaining Progress. The Court said national wage agreements should be considered where there was no agreed pay-review structure, and recommended a further increase from 1 July 2006 in line with any new national agreement.
