The Labour Court did not recommend that P Elliott & Company Limited concede the Building And Allied Trades Union’s request for a separate agreement on matters including productivity pay, lay-off and recall, and discipline. The recommendation was dated 31 May 2006. The Court considered the matters raised adequately covered by the construction industry’s Registered Employment Agreement, noted that the parties had agreed on piece rates and said contract terms should accord with SI 146/2000.
