Labour Court does not recommend regrading five Bus Eireann chief clerks

The Labour Court did not recommend regrading five Bus Eireann Chief Clerks to Executive Grade 5. The recommendation was dated 8 May 2006. The Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association cited increased responsibilities and said its internal grading committee had not reached agreement. Bus Eireann said the duties did not merit executive grading and the claims had been considered under its internal procedures. The Court said no basis had been shown to recommend regrading.
