In 2006, the Labour Court recommended that the University Of Limerick put arrangements in place within six months to review the grading of its Head of Counselling. The recommendation was dated 24 February 2006. Amicus sought a grade equivalent to Senior Lecturer for a counsellor whose post had been regraded from Grade VII to Grade IX. The University said Grade IX was appropriate. The Court considered the proposed review mechanism reasonable and recommended that the University accept it.
