The Labour Court recommended that Trinity College not concede a union claim to restore a pay differential for four staff. The recommendation was signed on 16 February 2006. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union argued that three other workers had received a special responsibility allowance without the same assessment of their duties as the original four. The Court found no merit in the claim and did not recommend that it be conceded.
