The Labour Court recommended that the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union agree in principle to a performance management system at Damovo Ireland Limited, followed by intensive negotiations on the company’s wider Change Agenda. The recommendation was signed on 16 February 2006. The union sought protection against loss of earnings during the transition and changes to be negotiated and agreed. Damovo said it needed flexibility to respond to market conditions. The Court recommended that negotiations be facilitated and completed within six weeks, after which the facilitator should report back so the Court could issue definitive recommendations on outstanding issues.
