The Labour Court recommended that Hasbro Ireland Ltd implement wage increases due under Sustaining Progress from their due dates, alongside proposed workplace changes after clarification, discussion and agreement. The recommendation was signed on 27 October 2005. The dispute with the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union concerned the company’s request for cost-offsetting measures, including staggered breaks, changes to seniority-based bumping and night-work patterns. The Court recommended that the increases and changes should not be implemented separately.
