The Labour Court recommended a personal-to-holder pay differential for an electrician at Mallow General Hospital, while finding no merit in a separate upgrading claim for an electrician at Our Lady's Hospital Cork. The recommendation in the dispute between the Health Service Executive-Southern Area and the Technical, Engineering And Electrical Union was signed on 10 October 2005. The Mallow-based electrician was to receive a differential of 12.5% of Assistant Foreman pay from 10 September 2002, without being regraded.
