The Labour Court recommended that a worker be reinstated to her former position at Drumlin C.D.P. without loss of pay, after finding her dismissal unfair. The recommendation was dated 6 October 2005. The Court found the worker was not told that an investigation concerned alleged misconduct or that her job was at risk. It also found she was denied a fair opportunity to address the board before the decision to dismiss her. The worker said management had approved the paid training that led to the investigation and that it took place outside her normal working hours. Drumlin C.D.P. said its investigation found breaches of employment terms involving paid training for a community group.
