The Labour Court recommended that Tedcastle Aviation Fuels pay a once-off gross €2,500 to each of 17 refuellers at Shannon Airport for taking on fuel-gauge setting duties. The payment would settle the claim in full. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought €100 per worker per week, after rejecting the company’s offer of €2,000. The Court’s recommendation was dated 26 September 2005.
