The Labour Court recommended payment, from their due date, of outstanding Sustaining Progress and Benchmarking increases for National Concert Hall box office staff, subject to a process for addressing workplace relations and agreeing new sales duties. It also recommended that management’s offer on relocation of the clocking machine be accepted. The recommendation was signed on 20 May 2005. The dispute between the National Concert Hall and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union also concerned outbound sales calls and compensation for the loss of paid time after the clocking machine was moved. The Court said the new role was not unreasonable in isolation, but serious relationship issues were preventing agreement.
