The Labour Court rejected the Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union's claim for compensation for members who helped with North Tipperary County Council's office relocation. The recommendation was signed on 19 May 2005. The Union said clerical, administrative and professional grades had taken on work beyond their normal duties. The Council argued the cooperation was part of normal ongoing change under Sustaining Progress. The Court found staff had been notified in advance and the action plan provided for cooperation without additional payments.
