The Court also recommended a 39-hour week without loss of pay and up to six weeks of paid sick leave a year, subject to conditions. Current recipients were to keep the €12 daily subsistence allowance; new employees were to receive €6 a day. The Court also recommended safety representatives and training, payment for employee representatives attending hearings on this occasion, and a review of grievance and disciplinary procedures.
