Labour Court recommends benchmarking for area partnership staff

The Labour Court recommended that area partnership companies accept and implement benchmarking for Local Development Social Inclusion Programme staff. The recommendation, dated 16 March 2005, followed a dispute between KWCD Partnership and the Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union. The employer side said it had no objection in principle but needed funding from Area Development Management Limited to meet the increased pay costs. The Court recommended local negotiations on modernisation and flexibility measures, pay limits, marker grades and implementation dates.
