The Labour Court recommended that St. Vincent's University Hospital proceed with transferring St. Camillus Ward to a new unit as soon as practicable, on the terms proposed through the Labour Relations Commission. Management said the move would help ease overcrowding in the A&E Department and improve patient care. The Court relied on assurances that staff reporting relationships and employment terms would not change, and that further changes would be negotiated with Pna. The recommendation was dated 25 February 2005.
