The Labour Court said it could not determine whether a £407,000 shortfall under Aer Lingus’s Survival Plan remained and would revisit the issue if necessary after progress on implementing the PBS rostering system and other changes. Its recommendation was signed on 14 February 2005. The Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union said cabin crew had already contributed savings and that delayed implementation of the system had increased their productivity burden. Aer Lingus said the crew had not met their savings commitment and sought the removal of a planned ninth day off or other savings.
