The Labour Court could not recommend conceding any of five claims brought by the Psychiatric Nurses’ Association of Ireland (PNA) against the Mid Western Health Board. Its recommendation was dated 14 October 2004. The claims concerned acting and occupational therapy allowances, reassignment, a laundry allowance for student nurses, and sick-leave pay cuts. The Court said it could identify no merit in any of them and recommended that the union close the industrial relations agenda.
