The Labour Court recommended a staged starting rate for All Water Systems field service personnel, beginning at €17,500 and rising to €20,000 over 18 months for satisfactory performance. The recommendation, dated 13 October 2004, also addressed remaining pay differences and future reviews. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought national agreement terms and pay scales. All Water Systems said it used performance-based pay reviews. The Court recommended that the company reduce remaining pay differences of up to €22,660 over two to three years and review rates with regard to cost-of-living indices or generally applicable national agreements.
