The Labour Court recommended on 15 July 2004 that North Eastern Health Board accept an independent adjudicator’s report on enhanced relocation payments for staff moved from St. Felim's Hospital, Cavan, with no further concessions. Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and Irish Nurses Organisation had sought an additional travel element for staff, including those moved to a new unit in Virginia. The Court said the adjudicator had addressed the issues and that the report’s conclusions were fair and reasonable.
