In a dispute over 2002 bonuses and the Saturday premium for distribution team members at Musgrave Supervalu Centra Limited’s Dublin chill warehouse, the Labour Court recommended that the premium rise in line with other pay. The recommendation was signed on 8 March 2004. The Court said the union had a reasonable basis to argue that exceptional causes may have affected production targets, and recommended addressing the bonus issue in the upcoming agreement review. It recommended conceding the Saturday premium claim. The union was the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union.
