The Labour Court did not recommend that Wyeth Nutritionals concede Amicus MSF’s claim to let laboratory workers move from the Final Pay Pension Plan to the Career Average Pension Plan. The union sought equalised benefits or a choice between the plans, saying workers had not been properly informed about the 1987 change. The Court said employees had enough information to choose between the schemes and that their relative benefits depended on future economic conditions. The recommendation was dated 11 March 2003.
