The Labour Court recommended shorter standard hours, an employer and employee pension contribution of 4% of pay each, and formal grievance, disciplinary, bullying and harassment procedures at Noble Waste Disposal Limited. The recommendation was signed on 3 February 2003. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union raised claims covering pay, hours, benefits and workplace procedures. Noble Waste said it had addressed or was addressing the issues. The Court accepted current pay rates as in line with comparable employment and recommended no adjustment to them. It recommended a 39-hour basic week within one month, with overtime thereafter, and set out further changes to pension funding and workplace procedures.
