The Labour Court did not recommend a further compensatory payment for staff relocated from Dawson Street to Baggot Street at New Ireland Assurance Company. Its recommendation was dated 16 January 2003. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and Amicus MSF sought compensation, citing added travel costs, limited consultation and inferior facilities. The Court considered relocation covered by an earlier commitment to cooperate with the merger change programme, for which payments had already been made. It recommended that other outstanding transfer issues be resolved within two months.
