In 2002, the Labour Court recommended that Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) and a worker represented by the Irish Municipal, Public and Civil Trade Union progress their dispute through the Rights Commissioners process and, if necessary, return to the Court. The recommendation was signed on 7 November 2002. The dispute concerned the worker's disagreement with findings from a management investigation into a bullying complaint. The union sought an independent investigation with terms agreed in advance. Management said its investigation found no evidence to substantiate the complaint and that the union rejected an independent review when asked to accept its outcome in advance.
