Labour Court recommends Pfizer pay proposal for laboratory analysts

In 2002, the Labour Court recommended acceptance of a pay proposal for laboratory analysts at Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals, including cumulative increases of 27.9% and a 1% lump sum. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought a common pay scale and recognition of enhanced duties. The Court said there had been a misunderstanding about the purpose of a work review and that the company should have clarified its position earlier. The recommendation was signed on 21 October 2002.
