The Labour Court did not recommend re-grading four Roches Stores stockroom supervisors to the department manager grade. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said their duties were comparable; the company argued there had been no appreciable change in the role. The Court said there was no tangible evidence of a significant change in the supervisors' role. Its recommendation was dated 4 September 2002. The four supervisors had between 20 and 34 years' service and were responsible for about 30 workers.
