The Labour Court recommended that the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union co-operate with three work changes at Schering-Plough (Brinny) Co. The recommendation was signed on 4 July 2002. The dispute concerned changes to labelling, issuing of active and printing schedules affecting about 220 general operatives. The Court found the changes were within the limits normally understood as minor under the continuous-improvement agreement. The union had argued that their extent exceeded what it had understood; the company said they were covered by its agreement and would have minimal impact.
