The Labour Court recommended that Udv Operations Ireland Limited increase Sunday pay for six process operators to time plus 60% on their consolidated rate of basic pay and shift premium. The recommendation was dated 14 February 2002. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said the workers had taken the roles expecting a single Sunday shift, but a double shift was now required. The Court also recommended that unresolved rota issues be discussed by the parties or with an Industrial Relations Officer.
