The Labour Court recommended that the Midland Health Board and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union refer a pay-scale dispute involving 11 Resource Centre staff to independent adjudicator Mr Des Casey. The union sought the Care Assistant rate plus 25% for the workers, who had been regraded as Level 1 Instructors. The recommendation was signed on 11 February 2002.
