The Labour Court recommended that Viking Direct (Ireland) Limited pay an unnamed human resource and training manager an additional €15,000 after finding that fair procedures were not followed in her dismissal. The recommendation was dated 25 January 2002. The Court found she received no warning that her job was in jeopardy, no right to representation and no opportunity to reply to accusations. It recommended the payment in full and final settlement of all claims against the company.
