The Labour Court did not recommend conceding the Technical, Engineering And Electrical Union’s claim for bonus payments and service pay for 30 Hollister Ulc staff. The recommendation was signed on 19 October 2001. The union sought the same bonus and service-pay arrangements as those applying to members of the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. Hollister said the union had chosen to negotiate its own agreement. The Court found that the annualised-hours agreement was final and that, overall, its benefits were not less favourable than those under the other agreement.
