The Labour Court did not recommend that Sercom Solutions concede a claim for a £20 weekly premium for four quality assurance employees. The recommendation was signed on 16 March 2001. Irish Print Group (SIPTU) said the employees did extra work and sought parity with MTS staff doing similar work. The Court found the claim was cost-increasing and debarred under Partnership 2000 and the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness, agreements to which both sides were committed.
