The Labour Court recommended that Pegasus Packaging Solutions pay £650 to a worker it found had been unfairly dismissed. The recommendation was signed on 3 July 2000. The worker said she was dismissed without a reason. Pegasus did not attend the hearing or make a submission, so the Court considered the worker’s evidence alone. It was satisfied that the manner of her dismissal was unfair and recommended the payment in full and final settlement.
