The Labour Court recommended against Mandate’s claim for redundancy terms of seven weeks’ pay per year of service for three store detectives at Group 4 Securitas. The recommendation was dated 19 May 2000. Group 4 Securitas had indicated the workers would be made redundant, then changed course and redeployed them. The Court said the claim was not sustainable in light of the case background.
