The Labour Court recommended changes to holiday pay for workers at Roadstone after claims by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and the Automobile, General Engineering and Mechancial Operatives Union. The recommendation was dated 8 May 2000. The Court recommended that regular rostered overtime be reflected in holiday pay and that 40% of average earnings from regular non-rostered overtime over the preceding 13 weeks be included. It did not recommend the unions’ claims for profit sharing, improved pensionable earnings or restoration of the historic pay pause.
