The Labour Court did not recommend a bonus for 12 general operatives at Heiton Mc Ferran’s Waterford depot, finding the claim breached the Partnership 2000 agreement. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought a bonus for the workers. The recommendation was signed on 13 April 2000. A £8 payment made in 1979 had been incorporated into the operatives’ basic pay at the union’s request.
