The Labour Court recommended that Roches Stores not concede the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s claim for an extra £10 a week for two Henry Street drivers. The recommendation was dated 22 November 1999. The union argued that the drivers should receive the payment given to Park West drivers because they relieved those drivers and worked in and out of the warehouse. The Court found that the October 1997 agreement limited the payment to employees who transferred to Park West.
