The Labour Court rejected the Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union’s claim for lead-in payments for three ambulance controllers at the Eastern Health Board. The recommendation was dated 28 September 1999. The union said the controllers’ workload had increased and that other staff received the payment. Management said they were not involved in the earlier dispute or the changes connected with the payment. The Court said they were not party to the negotiations that led to it.
