Labour Court recommends honouring Aoibhneas crisis counsellors' job evaluation

The Labour Court recommended that Aoibhneas Limited honour and ring-fence the job evaluation outcome for nine crisis counsellors, with immediate discussions on reorganisation proposals. The Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union represented the workers. The recommendation was signed on 17 May 1999. The Court said Aoibhneas relied on the Eastern Health Board for 91% of its budget and found an unreasonable time had passed before employees were told the evaluation would not be accepted.
