The Labour Court recommended no further concession in a dispute between Teagasc and the Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union over incremental credit for three workers. The recommendation was dated 1 March 1999. Teagasc had made ex-gratia payments of £4,806, £5,841 and £5,274 after applying incremental credit from 10 November 1995. The union argued that the calculation should instead run from 1 July 1994. The Court said the workers had been fairly treated, citing the lump sums and incremental credits for periods spent receiving higher-duty allowances.
