The Labour Court recommended that Jury's Hotel Group accept proposals on staff rostering after a worker disputed being assigned the task. It also recommended that she have a suitable environment when preparing rosters. The worker, a Coffee Dock supervisor for more than 20 years, said rostering had not been part of her duties and would add a time-consuming responsibility without compensation. The hotel said supervisors shared roster responsibilities and that its proposal was a reasonable way to resolve the dispute. The recommendation was signed on 28 January 1999.
