The Labour Court recommended that Manufacturing, Science, Finance accept Dublin Drug Company Limited’s invitation to discuss issues arising from United Drug’s takeover of Dublin Drug. The recommendation, signed on 12 February 1998, followed the union’s allegation that Dublin Drug failed to consult it before the transfer and its request for talks on related issues.
