The Labour Court recommended extending Cantrell & Cochrane Wholesale Limited's 12-point pay scale by two increments, creating a 14-point scale with a maximum of £22,131 as at 1 May 1997. The Marine, Port And General Workers' Union had sought integration with the old C&C Ireland scale. The revised scale was recommended to take effect from 1 January 1997, with an adjustment for Partnership 2000. The recommendation was signed on 24 September 1997.
