The Labour Court recommended that four ambulance staff move from Wicklow to a new base in Arklow, with new working arrangements introduced within six weeks of the move. After six months, the Eastern Health Board and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union should review the effects on earnings and social disruption. If losses were established, compensation should be calculated under the recognised formula. The recommendation was signed on 22 September 1997.
