Labour Court recommends Dublin Bus tokens for Clontarf workers when payment criteria are agreed

The Labour Court recommended that bonus scheme tokens be paid to about 50 engineering and craft workers at Dublin Bus's Clontarf garage when similar payment criteria have been agreed. The recommendation was dated 25 August 1997. The parties were Dublin Bus, the ICTU Group of Unions and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union. The Court found that tokens at other garages had been linked to commitments to changes in work practices, and that the negotiated change was not then required at Clontarf.
